At Project Liberal, we believe that liberal institutions depend on something simple: people being able to check the work. Our videos move fast, that’s the day and age we live in, but the claims behind them shouldn’t have to be taken on faith.

This page exists so they don’t have to be. For every video we publish, we link the reporting, data, court filings, official statements, and primary sources behind the claims we make. If we cite a study, you’ll find it here. If we quote an official, you’ll find the transcript or the article. If we report a number, you’ll find its source.

We do this for two reasons. First, because accountability journalism only works if our own work can be held to the same standard we apply to everyone else. Second, because we’d rather you read the original sources than trust us blindly. The strongest case against authoritarianism, disinformation, and institutional decay is an informed public. Not a more loyal audience.

If you find an error, tell us. We’ll correct it and note the change. That’s the deal.
